Is it good for me?
Is eating Seedless Watermelon good for me?

A bit of a silly question as we all know that eating fresh fruit every day is good for us, but I bet you didn't know just how good Seedless Watermelon is for providing some really essential nutrients for your diet!
Seedless Watermelons have long been known to contain vitamins A & C, the minerals Potassium and Iron, but now consumers have even more reason to enjoy nature’s red crunchy power treat.
Findings from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) scientists indicate that Seedless Watermelon contains high levels of Lycopene (pronounced "Lie-co-peen") – a powerful antioxidant.
Lycopene is found only in a small select group of fruits and vegetables.
Lycopene is the natural pigment that gives tomatoes and Seedless Watermelons their red colour and is a member of the carotenoid family. The "redder" the Seedless Watermelon the more of this potentially life saving ingredient it contains. Seedless Watermelons are by far the most red and concentrated of all melon varieties.
Large international studies have found that people who eat high Lycopene diets had a much lower risk of developing certain cancers, especially prostate cancer among men.
Seedless Watermelons contain no fat, 92% water, 8% natural sugars and only 54 calories per cup.
